‘I liked the book very much because it was extremely silly, and it had a mad zombie goldfish that did really cool things’
This book has two stories in it. The first is about a zombie holiday, with two dads and their kids that go to the seaside and stay in a lighthouse. One boy has a zombie goldfish who hates his big brother. The big brother wants to be a famous evil scientist and captures a huge eel, and then makes it electric by using lightning from a storm.
The second story is about two boys auditioning for a part in the school play of Robin Hood. One boy gets the part of Robin, but during the play, the older evil-scientist brother tries to hypnotise the talent scout so that he can win a talent show. He makes all of the people in the audience and the cast fall asleep so he can spend the time doing what he needs to do to win it.
I liked the book very much because it was extremely silly, and it had a mad zombie goldfish that did really cool things. I’d quite like to read one of these stories where the older brother succeeds in his plan, and then the two boys have to stop his evil deeds.
